Welcome to my corner of the galaxy! My name is Dan Walsh and I'm a lifelong Star Wars enthusiast who found my tribe in the Galactic Alliance of Houston, Texas—a vibrant community of fans, cosplayers, and event-goers who share a love for the saga that changed pop culture forever. Whether I'm suiting up as a Storm Trooper, Kylo Ren, Blue Squadron Pilot, or operating an droid, I’m often out at local events, conventions, and charity appearances, bringing the Force to life for fans of all ages. I created this page to answer the many questions I get while out in the field—from costume details and character lore to how you can get involved yourself.

There's something truly special about immersing myself in the Star Wars universe through costuming and astromech building. Crafting detailed outfits that bring iconic characters to life is a thrill, but my passion really shines in the creation of astromech droids. From designing and assembling each component to programming their quirks, it's a labor of love that taps into both creativity and technical skill. The real joy, though, comes when I operate the droids—watching them roll, beep, and interact is where the fun hits its peak. It’s like orchestrating a bit of movie magic in the real world.

If you've ever wondered what it's like to be part of a galactic crew right here in Houston, you're in the right place. May the Force be with you!

My Costumes.

Over the last three years, R2 and I have had some pretty cool experiences that make for great stories.  I'd love to post all of those events, but it would blow up this server.  So I will leave you with just a few that brings smiles to my face.
